WHO I AM
It was in the drama we call life that I found myself looking for a fresh start. After being diagnosed with Lupus and fighting to have a normal life I quickly realized that I needed to find what makes me happy. After some soul searching I found myself back at my roots and with my love of art. I am a Lifestyle Photographer, Graphic Designer and Artist. I love to capture what your heart sees and knows.
Behind my camera lens I come alive. I have found my happy place.
First & foremost, I am a loving wife and mother of six wonderful children. I am married to the most loving man, my Retired Army Vet (22+), my source of sanity when my world pauses for Lupus. We are a blended family and I like to say that we are the perfect mix of love and sass. My family & friends are my greatest source of joy.
Secondly to that, photography is my passion. Here at Jan Wilson Photography in Panama City Beach you will be treated like family, because you are. The moment you booked your session, you joined the JWP Tribe.
Experience
I am a natural light photographer specializing in on location Family/Lifestyle Photography & Weddings. My photography style is to do a mix of natural and posed portraits. There's just something about capturing that raw emotion for each family and I strive to accomplish that with EVERY session.
I professionally edit every image that is added to your personal and private gallery for viewing. I pride myself in having a quick turnaround. I can usually have your portraits ready for viewing within 48-72 hours with Family/Lifestyle sessions & Weddings in less than two weeks.
There is no sweeter reward than capturing those special moments that one wants to cherish for a lifetime. Life brings us an infinite amount of possibilities that we want to capture and I am blessed to be able to capture those moments one click at a time.
